BYC II Arrives in Morocco

The Liberia Football Association 2015 Knockout Cup champion, Barack Young Controller II, has arrived in the Morocco to honor its Confederation of African Football Confederation Cup fixture against Kawkab Athletic Club of Marrakech.

A 39 man delegation arrived in Morocco on March 8th from Liberia. The “Go Blue Boys” delegation is headed by James Payne of the Liberia Football Association.
The team spent three hours at Casablanca’s airport before receiving visas. They then traveled three hours on a bus to Marrakech, the venue of Saturday encounter.

Meanwhile, reports from Morocco say no member of Kawkab or the Football House of Morocco were present at the airport to welcome the Liberian delegation.

Following the team’s arrival, BYC II Head Coach Emmanuel Kaykay cautioned his boys to be focused and forget about the attitude of the Moroccans upon their arrival.

Kaykay told the team they are on a mission is to make Liberians home and away happy.

The match will be BYC II’s second appearance in the competition.

The last time they participated in the competition was in March 2013 when Tanzanian Club AZAM FC eliminated them in the second round.
