Kromah: I Fear No Reprisal from Liberian Public

MONROVIA, Montserrado – The dismissed Deputy Police Director for Operations of the Liberia National Police Abraham Kromah says he fears no reprisal from the Liberian public after his exit from the force.

Kromah said he never entertained a grudge against anyone as most of what he did as a professional officer was based on the directives of his superiors.

He said despite his recent dismissal from the LNP, he remains a professional officer and would do nothing that runs contrary to those principles that he represented.

Kromah said he was also grateful to God that his dismissal was not based on any alleged corrupt practices.

He assured the Liberian public to continue to be law abiding citizens.

The dismissed Deputy Police Director for Operations made the comments recently when he spoke to journalists at the Center for Intellectual Exchange of Opinion in Monrovia.

President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf dismissed three top officers of the Liberia National Police including Kromah on May 1.

In her press release, Sirleaf did not state a reason for dismissing Kromah and the three others. However, it is widely believed that their dismissal was related to their grievances with the motorcyclists in Monrovia.
