Accountability Lab has announced the opening of the period for nomination for its 2018 integrity Idol Liberia award.
In its third year of honoring honest civil and public servants in Liberia, the 2017 Integrity Idol award has been given to Rebecca Scotland, an instructor of physician assistants at the Tubman National Institute of Medical Arts.
Like warding off infection in a patient, Rebecca Scotland wants to sanitize the process of becoming a nurse. On Friday, she was crowned the winner of Integrity Idol Liberia, the country’s third campaign to celebrate honest public officials.

Today’s featured Integrity Idol finalist, Jefferson Dolo, is the acting Chief of Procurement at the Liberia National Police.
Integrity Idol 2017 is a nationwide citizen campaign to highlight the most honest government officials in Liberia. Every day, for five days, The Bush Chicken will feature a short bio and a video of each finalist. Anyone can vote for their favorite idol.
Following a nationwide nomination and sorting by a panel of selected judges, five finalists have been qualified to compete for this year’s Integrity Idol Awards. The program recognizes and celebrates the most honest public and civil servants in Liberia.
