VIDEO: Damaged Gbarpolu Bridge Increasing Hardship on Residents

GOU NWOLAILA, Gbarpolu – In the video below, commuters at the Dorkorta crossing point express their frustration with the impact of a damaged bridge in Gbarpolu. The bridge, which ran across the Tuma River, was the only crossing point for residents and connects two administrative districts in the county.

According to residents, it collapsed over six months ago while earthmoving equipment crossed to work on a road rehabilitation project initiated by Senator Armah Jallah.

In another video below, residents of Dorkota explain the impact of the damaged bridge on their lives and businesses.
