PLEEBO, Maryland – Police in Maryland’s Pleebo Sodoken Statutory District are currently investigating a 37-year-old man of Pleebo’s Zone 4 community for beating his wife to death.
Police say Napoleon Williams allegedly assaulted his wife, Theresa Williams, resulting in her immediate death on May 8, 2018 between the hours of 8:00-9:00 p.m.
Speaking in an interview with The Bush Chicken from his police cell, Napoleon Williams said he and his wife were involved in a fistfight, which resulted in her death.
He said the altercation between him and his deceased wife began with an argument where his wife started insulting him and accused him of misusing funds from their charcoal business – funds he said he had used to pay their children’s school fees.
According to the confessed murderer, his wife’s insults enraged him, and he started to beat her.
Eyewitnesses who did not want to disclose their names told The Bush Chicken that the suspect regularly assaulted his late wife and that they had intervened many times before.
Theresa Williams left behind five children. Napoleon Williams has been charged with manslaughter and sent to court for trial.
