Sam Johnson Responds to Criticisms with Profanities

Sam Johnson’s lucrative move to China despite interest from top European clubs sparked huge criticism among football fans and pundits who expected him to move to bigger a European league.

He was heavily criticized for placing money ahead of his career and being afraid of going for a greater challenge.

Sam made his debut for Wuhan Zall on a very promising note, scoring twice on his debut to help his side grab a 2-0 win at home against Shenzen Football Club. Immediately, the former Djurgardens attacker, via his Facebook page responded to his critics by telling them to “Shut the f**k off.”

His vulgar post was later edited, but Truth FM’s sports reporter, Varflay Kamara, said Johnson acted very unprofessional by insulting football fans openly on social media.

He said: “I thought Sam [was] a cool guy. To be honest, I never expected such from him. Now, he is a professional player. He should expect all of these. Insulting on the social network, he behaves very unprofessionally.”
