Monrovia Traffic Court Judge Jomah Jallah has ordered the arrest of the “living body†of popular recording artist Quincy Burrowes for violating the vehicle and traffic laws.

On March 3, 2017, Liberian R & B star singer, Quincy L. Borrow, nicknamed Quincy B, died from a car accident, on his way from a KARAOKE night, in Monrovia, Liberia. The artist was pulled out of the damaged vehicle and rush to the JFK Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Along with Quincy B involved in the accident were fellow artists Maurice Terziq Gayflor, nicknamed CIC, Margas Bimba and Feouls Kaba. CIC legs got broken in the accident while there were no injuries for both Margas Bimba and Feouls Kaba.

Alcohol, speed and the lack of safety devices such as seatbelts or airbags were likely factors in the crash and resulting death. Unfortunately, Liberians will likely let Burrowes’ death be in vain instead of using it to spur changes to lower the chances of such incidences happening in the future.
