MONROVIA, Liberia – Authorities at the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) have arrested two Nigerian citizens for trafficking illicit drugs into the country.
The director of the DEA, Anthony K. Souh, estimated the street value of the drugs to be $71,000 USD. He said the two Nigerians were involved in the illicit sale of cocaine.
Souh told reporters that the two men, Domatus Nwafor, and Emmanuel Eze Eskasha, are residents of the Duala Red Hill Field Community, a suburb of Monrovia. According to Souh, they had rented an apartment in the Duala Red Hill area under the guise of running a non-profit organization.
He expressed his confidence in the existing drug enforcement laws to deal with individuals illegally caught possessing narcotic substances. Souh added that the two suspects would shortly be sent to court for prosecution.
