UNIFICATION CITY, Margibi – The CEO of Favor Marketing Company, Ivar Jones, has made donations to five community radio stations in Lower Margibi.
Jones donated a giant-size multi-purpose laser jet printer and four cartons of paper each to Radio Peace FM and Stone FM in Harbel. He also donated four cartons of paper each to EL Sky Radio in Harbel, Voice of Dolo in Dolo Town and Eagle FM in Unification City.
According to Jones, the donations to the radio stations are meant to enhance the works of the local media to inform and educate the communities on important issues.
He said the donations of paper and printers to the radio stations followed an assessment made on the needs and challenges of the local media.
He also presented three bundles of zinc to a family victimized by a recent fire in Cotton Tree.
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries of the gesture accepted the donations and thanked Jones and his friends for their good will.
Stone FM Manager Kermue Dennis said the donation was a surprise. He said the items donated would be used to boost the operations of the radio station.
