Scenes From the 7th Golden Image Award

MONROVIA, Montserrado – The seventh edition of the Golden Image Award was recently held in honor of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf at the Monrovia City Hall.

Juli Endee, Liberia’s cultural ambassador and organizer of the ceremony, said the event is meant to provide a unique opportunity to recognize individuals, organizations, institutions, and countries that have sacrificed and contributed to building a peaceful future generation in Liberia and around the world.

Endee said Sirleaf, is a manifestation of the idea that “leadership is an action, not a position.”

The event was attended by several dignitaries from Ghana, Nigeria, and the U.S.
