Raji’s request was accepted, and talks with the technical department of the LFA and a few Liberian coaches are ongoing via video conferencing.

So far, the English FA’s Gustavo Spanholi has been explaining his organization’s grassroots football development program and has responded to questions on how such a system could be implemented in Liberia.

Coaches included on the video call were Monrovia Club Breweries head coach Francis Sarploh; the head for grassroots football at the Liberia Football Association, Ben Saydee; technical director for women’s football, Francis Tamba; LPRC Oilers’ coach Cooper Sannah; Famatta Dean and Robert Lartey of the women’s senior national team; Barrack Young Controller’s head coach Mouctarr Fofana; Liberia national U17 assistant coach Arab Fofana; Canadian-based Liberian coach Ansu Keita; and former Lone Star head coach Kaetu Smith.

According to a press release from the LFA, after the end of the global Coronavirus pandemic, the English FA will send a delegation to Liberia for a better demonstration.
