Keith Nah continues his sensational form for Yadanarbon in the 2016 league season. He helped his team to a 4-1 win over Horizon Football Club, the employer of fellow Liberian, Martin Karnu.
Nah, who is enjoying brilliant goal scoring form in the 2016 Myanmar National League with eleven goals from fifteen matches, scored once and provided two assists for Win Naing Soe, who netted a hat-trick.
Nah helped Yadanarbon reach the General Aung San Shield final last season, where he finished second on the goal-scoring chart with seven goals. However, they were beaten in the final after suffering a 3-1 loss to Ayeyawady United.
The 20-year-old striker has backed his side to reach the final and clinch the title to avoid the repeat of 2015. Though Yadanarbon is already close to winning the Myanmar National League, Nah said his team is taking every competition seriously and will fight to win the double.
“We are not taking anything for granted,†he said. “We are topping the league with sixteen points, which is very important for us. Now, we are into the Cup quarter-finals; we will approach every game like a final. We want to win the double; that’s our goal. We are not focusing on one competition only because we want to conquer Myanmar. Unfortunately, we lost in the Cup final last season, but we are heading there again. We have learnt our lesson and have corrected our mistakes. We are fully prepared this time to become champions.â€
Unlike Nah’s Yadanarbon that has proven to be a top notch club in the 2016 league season, Karnu’s Horizon Football Club has struggled for form since the beginning of the league. They sit bottom of the Myanmar National League table with five points from fifteen games.
