ALP Boosts Presence in Nimba

GANTA, Nimba – The All Liberian Party of businessman Benoni W. Urey has provided its Nimba branch with a vehicle to boost its presence in the county.

ALP National Chairman Theodore Momo, Jr. said, after the party’s recent convention, it is now focusing on providing its various chapters with the capacity to increase the party’s membership base.

He made the statements to reporters during a visit to the leadership of the ALP’s Nimba branch on May 17.

“True to our dreams and aspiration, today we are here to officially turn over a brand new Mazda pick-up to the leadership of Nimba County,” Momo said. “The turning over of this pick-up is just the beginning; there are more materials and equipment coming forth for Nimba.”

Making the presentation to the head of ALP’s Nimba branch, Bob Yeaney, Momo called on the leadership to use the vehicle for the purpose intended.

Yeaney thanked the national executive and its political leader and pledged to ensure that the party meets its recruitment objectives in Nimba.

“We also say in the simplest Liberian way – we tell you and your boss man thank you yah. We can assure you people that this car that was given today will be used for the purpose that it was given for,” Yeaney said.

“We will continue to tell people about Nimba County. This is a county that you don’t have to overlook. Nimba County, we are not weak people; we are always strong, and we are going to meet our objectives.”
