MONROVIA, Montserrado – Ahead of Liberia’s 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier encounter against Guinea-Bissau, the head coach of the Lone Star has released his final 26-man listing of players for the two-match series.
Eighteen of the players listed by James Debbah are foreign-based players while the remaining eight are locally-based. The match is slated for Thursday, October 8, 2015, at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia.
Among the players invited for the match were Patrick Ronaldinho Wleh, Marcus Macaulley, and Dioh Williams, all of whom received their first invitation since Debbah took over the national team.
Debbah disclosed that the chance of Wleh showing up for the encounter is 50-50 as the striker is currently nursing a knee injury.
Greece-based Herron Berrian was notably left out, in addition to the unattached Sekou Jabateh Oliseh.
