MONROVIA, Montserrado – First division club FC Fassell announced the appointment of Allen L. Massing, Jr. as the club’s new Secretary-General on Thursday, April 21.
According to the press release signed by the vice president for administration and public affairs, Paywala Janyan, the appointment was made after a month-long vetting process of various candidates by executives of the club.
The release said Massing came on top of all other candidates because of his academic accomplishments and past experiences. His appointment is expected to come into immediate effect.
“We at FC Fassell are thrilled to offer Mr. Massing this position and are confident he will thrive professionally and personally while working for this institution,” the release stated.
Massing will be primarily responsible for running the day-to-day affairs of the club’s secretariat, under the supervision of the board chairman, president, and the vice presidents.
