Liberian international striker Kpah Sherman has won his first prestigious personal award in his football career after completing the 2019 Malaysian Super League as the highest goal scorer.
Sherman’s brilliant performances during the season earned him the league’s golden boots after scoring 14 goals in 18 games. The former Black Aces striker showed his worth to PKNS FC by helping them escape the relegation battle to remain in the Malaysian Super League.
Despite Sherman’s performances in the league, the club finished ninth on the table with 21 points from 22 games. It was Sherman’s first season with the club after playing excellently with MIFA FC in the Malaysian Premier League for a season and a half.
Not only did Sherman score 14 goals in the Malaysia Super League, but the lethal striker also managed to score two goals in four Malaysian FA Cup games. He finished the 2019 Malaysian season with a total of 16 goals in 22 games.
