MONROVIA, Montserrado – Amid tempting offers from clubs around the world, Liberian forward Anthony Snoti Laffor has revealed that he is uncertain about his future with his current club, the Mamelodi Sundowns.

Laffor has just five months remaining on his contract with the CAF Champions League victors, and he has not ruled out the possibility of leaving the club when his contract expires.

Despite his success with the Sundowns, Laffor is rumored to be leaning toward joining the Kaizer Chiefs, a club based in Johannesburg that competes in the Premiere Soccer League.

“I cannot tell you that I’m going to extend my contract,” Laffor said on Tuesday. “At the moment, my management is working on things. They are in contact with some other clubs and not only the Kaizer Chiefs.”

Laffor, who was in Liberia for vacation, said when he returns to South Africa, things could be much different. “Sundowns will resume training sessions by the 18^th of the month, and I have more time to decide my future,” he added.

Laffor played a major role in the Sundowns’ triumph in the 2015-16 ABSA Premiership and the 2016 CAF Champions League, but manager Pitso Mosimane has not given the 31-year-old Laffor a guaranteed spot in the starting lineup.

“For me, I don’t argue with coaches. I listen to them whenever they make decisions,” Laffor said. “The most important thing at Sundowns is that I always give my best whenever I’m on the pitch. There is no rift between [Mosimane] and me. Sometimes in life, people fight you, but you don’t have to fight them back. I don’t have a problem with him. Whatever decision he makes, I’m there to listen to him. He is my coach and I have to listen to him.”
