After 195 minutes, William Jebor finally scored his first goal for SD Ponferradina since joining the club on a season loan from Portuguese Premier League club, Rio Ave.
The Liberian international ended his goal drought with a composed finish to complete a 3-0 victory over Eibar in the fourth round of the Copa Del Rey at the Estadio El ToralÃn.
The Copa del Rey is an annual football cup competition for Spanish football teams. In the English language, It is referred to as the Kings Cup.
Luka ÄorÄ‘ević opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Jebor doubled the score. In the 26th minute, by turning sharply in the box and heading the ball into the left corner of Xabi Irureta’s goal posts. Then, Ukrainian forward Dmytro Khomchenovskiy completed the score in the 53rd minute.
The goal brings a season-long scoring drought to an end. He has made six appearances so far.
To go through to the next round of the competition, Ponferradina must defend their three goals lead in the return leg scheduled for December 16, 2015.
