Liberia’s hat-trick hero, William Jebor, got his second successive win on Saturday, April 2, with his club Ponferradina making it their tenth league victory.
Just back from participating in Liberia’s 5-0 win over Djibouti with a hat-trick to his name, the 24-year-old was again very impressive as Ponferradina beat Llagostera 1-0 at home in continuation of the Spanish second tier league.
Spanish midfielder Acorán Barrera Reyes scored the match’s only goal in the 71st minute from the penalty spot after Gonzalo Melero was pulled down in Llagostera’s penalty area.
The win took Ponferradina to the 17th place on the league table with 38 points from 32 matches.
Jebor has made the total of eighteen league appearances so far this season, 14 as a substitute and four as a starter. He has a single league goal.
