The date of trial for the arrested persons has not yet been disclosed.

A police officer who was allegedly escorting the drugs along with Sompon, George F. Karnga, was turned over to the Professional Standards Division of the Liberia National Police for investigation. That investigation is said to have been completed and a report is expected to be submitted to Inspector General Patrick Sudue for further actions.
