Suspected Ebola Patient Discovered In Clara Town

MONROVIA, Montserrado – The Ministry of Health has reported another suspected Ebola case in the densely populated Clara town community on the Bushrod Island.

The Deputy Head of the Incident Management Team, Dr. Francis Kateh released the information at the Ministry of Health on Wednesday in Monrovia. If confirmed, this would become the second Ebola case in less than a week.

Previously, a 44-year-old lady who operated a cook shop came down with the virus. Several people who came into contact with her are now on a watch list.

The confirmed and suspected cases come at a time when Liberia was soon to be declared Ebola free. It is not known yet if the Government of Liberia will shut down schools again.
