The Eighth Judicial Circuit Court in Sanniquellie has moved to transfer the case of the trial of Sensee Kowo to the Second Judicial Circuit Court in Grand Bassa. Kowo, along with other defendants, is being tried for the murder of commercial motorcyclist Samuel Selleh.
Hearings into the murder case involving disrobed police sergeant Sensee Kowo and two others begin today at 2:00 p.m. at the Eighth Judicial Circuit Court in Sanniquellie.
Commercial motorcyclists in Nimba are threatening to disrupt the impending December 8 senatorial elections if the Eighth Judicial Circuit Court in the county delays in prosecuting a man accused of murdering a commercial motorcyclist in Ganta in early March this year.
The Liberia National Police have charged and sent to court two men, including their own Sgt. Sensee Kowo, who served as deputy commander in Ganta. The men are being charged in relation to their involvement in an incident that left 18-year-old Samuel Selleh, a commercial motorcyclist, dead.
