In two days, Terrence Tisdell will be playing his first official match with his new Mozambican club, Costa do Sol.
Ahead of the 2018 season that will begin on the 3rd of February when Costa do Sol will take on Uniao Desportiva do Songo in the Mozambican Super Cup, the club will be involved in a preseason tournament. The Mabvila Top 8 competition begins on January 28 and it will bring together eight teams that will be placed into two groups.
Tisdell, who has just completed a preseason camp in South Africa with his new team, told The Bush Chicken in an interview that his side will win the tournament because they have been working hard over the days.
“We had a great preseason and there was a lot of hard work,†he said. “The players are working harder for the new season.â€
The on-loan LISCR FC forward used the preseason camp in South Africa to introduce himself to his new teammates and technical staff. He managed two goals and three assists in all the six games in South Africa before returning to Mozambique for the Mavila Top 8 competition.
Costa do Sol was placed in Group A with Maputo-based clubs, Liga Desportiva de Maputo, Clube Desportivo Estrela Vermelha, and CD Matchedje de Maputo.
Tisdell departed Liberia for Mozambique on the 2nd of January after agreeing a two-year loan contract with Costa do Sol. Before his departure, the former FC Fassell forward signed a three-year deal with Liberia First division and FA Cup champions LISCR FC. Without playing a single match for the club, he completed his first foreign club move.
