Integrity Idol Profile: Jefferson Dolo, Chief of Procurement

Today’s featured Integrity Idol finalist, Jefferson Dolo, is the acting Chief of Procurement at the Liberia National Police.

Outside of work, he does the accounting for his church. Among his colleagues at the LNP, Dolo is seen as a straight shooter and a stickler for the rules. Dolo got to this position after working odd jobs for many years and putting himself through school, where he gained an advanced degree. With that, he was able to secure his current position.

Integrity Idol 2017 is a nationwide citizen campaign to highlight the most honest government officials in Liberia. Every day, for five days, The Bush Chicken will feature a short bio and a video of each finalist. Anyone can vote for their favorite idol.

The competition aims to generate debate around the idea of integrity and demonstrate the importance of honesty, personal responsibility and accountability as well as inspire a new generation to be more effective public servants.
