MONROVIA, Montserrado – Campaigning for the October 10 election has officially begun and that was obvious in the streets of Monrovia.
Benoni Urey of the All Liberian Party drove his convoy from Careysburg through Tubman Boulevard to his party’s headquarters in the Old Road community.
Nearby, Thomas Fallah of the Coalition for Democratic Change, who also started off his campaign from Jacob Town, drove with his supporters through 72nd Boulevard, Tubman Boulevard and on to the ELWA Junction.
The Liberia National Police’s presence was ubiquitous, to prevent clashes between rivals.
Below are images from the start of the campaign.
